(PEACE BE UPON HIM)
By: Dr. Ali Mohammad al-Sallabi
“Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read or write (I.e., Muhammad (PBUH) whom they find written with them the Taurat (Torah) (Deut, xviii, 15) and the Injeel (Gospel) (John xiv, 16), - he commands them for Al-Ma'roof(I.e., Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam and ordained); and forbids them from Al-Munkar (I.e., disbelief, polytheism of all kinds, and all that Islam has forbidden); he allows them as lawful At-Tayibat [(I.e., all good and lawful) as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods, etc.], and prohibits them as unlawful AlKhaba’ith (I.e., all evil and unlawful as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods, etc.), he releases them from their heavy burdens (of Allah’s Covenant), and from the fetters (bindings) that were upon them. So those who believe in him (Muhammad Pbuh), honour him, help him, and follow the light (the Qur’an) which has been sent down with him, it is they who will be successful.” (Qur’an 7:157)
THE NOBLE LIFE OF THE PROPHET 2
(PEACE BE UPON HIM)
“He is Allah, than Whom there is La ilaha illa Huma (none has the right to be worshipped but he) the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen (open). He is Allah, than Whom there is La ilaha illa Huma (none has the right to be worshipped but he) the King, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over his creatures, the All-Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to Allah! He is Allah, the Creator, the inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify him. And he is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” (Qur’an 59: 22-24)
THE NOBLE LIFE OF THE PROPHET 3
(PEACE BE UPON HIM)
By: Dr. Ali Mohammad al-Sallabi
“He it is Who has sent His Messenger Muhammad (Pbuh) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), that He may make it (Islam) superior over all religions. And All-Sufficient is Allah as a Witness. Muhammad (Pbuh) is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with them are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and falling down prostate (in prayer), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) God pleasure. The mark of them (I.e., of their faith) is in their faces (foreheads) from the traces of (their) prostration (during prayers). This is their description in the Taurat (Torah). But their description in the Injeel (Gospel) is like a (sown) seed which sends forth its shoot, then makes it strong, it then becomes thick and it stands straight in its stern, delighting the sowers - that He may engage the disbelievers with them. Allah has promised this among them who believe (I.e., all those who follow Islamic Monotheism, the religion of Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) till the Day of Resurrection) and do righteous good deeds, forgiveness and a mighty reward (I.e., Paradise).” (Qur’an 48: 28, 29)
